- Hewlett-Packard CEO Mark Hurd resigns due to sexual harassment?

Mark V. Hurd, the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard Co. resigned last Friday with accusations of sexual harassment and falsifying expense reports. Eventhough, there is no complete details regarding this alleged accusations, the company has already made an internal investigations about the case.
Sexual Harrasment and Expense Reports
This issue buzzed the company as an unidentified contractor claimed she had been sexually harassed by Hurd. This contractor is allegedly having a personal relationship with Hurd and was reported to receive numerous inappropriate payments from the company.

The company's general counsel, Michael Holston, said Hurd's behavior reflected a "profound lack of judgment" and violated HP's standards of business conduct. But so far, the company found no evidence of sexual harassment
Hurd will receive a severance package of $12.2 million, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Chief Financial Officer Cathie Lesjak, 51, will take over as interim CEO.
