Nokia X1-01, Nokia C2-00: Dual Sim Phones Features and Overview
June 15, 2011 – Cebu City. A number of CBSi tech bloggers attended the launching of Nokia Dual Sim units at Roof Deck, Harolds Hotel with different personalities and media men. The event was headed by Miss Nikka Abes, Nokia’s Corporate Communications Manager, who initially gave a preview through some video presentation about the product.

Nokia today announced that the Dual SIM Nokia X1-01 and Nokia C2-00 would soon both be on sale in the Philippines. Both models offer the most convenient and intuitive experience available for switching between SIM cards – without compromising on features and fun.
“The Nokia X1-01 and Nokia C2-00 pack more memory, better battery life and far richer SIM change and entertainment features than other Dual SIM products currently in the market,” said Benoit Nalin, general manager of Nokia Philippines. “In addition to their various unique features, both of these phones remember the settings for up to five separate SIM cards, each of which can be personalized with a dedicated name as well as preferred call, SMS or data settings. ONLY Nokia can offer this level of convenience in Dual SIM phones!”
Nokia X1-01
With the Nokia X1-01 you can give each SIM card its own logo, music signature or ringtone – personalization features that you can only get from Nokia! The phone also offers what is simply the best Dual SIM music experience on the market. You can store and shuffle THOUSANDS of songs with up to 16 GB of memory support, create your own favorite playlists, and play your music back over a loudspeaker that is the loudest and clearest ever produced by Nokia. The phone also features dedicated music side keys and a battery that will last for up to 36 hours of continued music playback! Nokia C2-00

Midnight Raid Attack: Phone Hijack
Are you a fan of having textmates and giving up your mobile numbers to the persons who you dont know and plugging it up on Wanted Pangga (Cebu's FM radio program) or dialing some numbers? I bet, after you will read this post, you will change your mind.
Recently, it was a buzz in Trust Digital. An attacker with correct and right toolkits and skill could hijack anyone's phone remotely by just sending SMS (short Message Service) to the device. With the Trust Digital demo on Youtube, a hijacker sends a text message to the prey phone which opens up a web browser and downloads an executable file that directs it, steals data off the phone and send an SMS to the predator's phone.
This strategy is commonly known a "Midnight Raid Attack" since it is very effective when the prey is asleep, the predator then could send a text message to the phone without the owner's knowledge.

Amazon Kindle for Iphone and Ipod Users
Just when Amazon released their Kindle 2.0, they now offer Iphone and Ipod users a kindle applications which can be installed to their gadget for free.

I know some of the people in the US have now this iphone in them but if you are planning to buy this $359 Kindle, well, its not a good move then, just download and install the Kindle applications from Apps Store. How about the ebook, is it also for free? I say nope, you need to purchased these Kindle based ebooks from Amazon and afterwhich, you can copy this files to your iphone or ipod in order to read it anywhere you go. Thats the good thing!
But I guess, i still can't hold and play with this gadgets, poor me!
