After a rigid scrutiny and judging from some of the experts in the field of new media like Cebu Archdiocesan Mass Media Awardee Nancy Cudis, Cebu Bloggers Society president Ruben Licera Jr., Cagayan de Oro Bloggers president Vic Marion Madriaga, and Mindanao Blog Awards founder Ria Jose, these BCBA Finalists will vie the name of who will be the Best Bloggers from different Niches like Travel, Technology, Personal, Food, Fashion, Photo, and Entertainment

When you try to search some information or data in "Facebook Search Box", there are times that results are not that related to your keywords. Luckily and finally, Facebook, the number one Social Media site, gets Hashtag Support. On the coming weekends, Facebook Hashtag will be visible to users which give them the opportunity to be informed and to join a public conversation with their interests just like NBA Finals, Game of Thrones or The Vampire Diaries Episodes, or any topics.

Introducing Hashtags on Facebook

Starting today, hashtags will be clickable on Facebook. Similar to other services like Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or Pinterest, hashtags on Facebook allow you to add context to a post or indicate that it is part of a larger discussion. When you click on a hashtag in Facebook, you'll see a feed of what other people and Pages are saying about that event or topic.



Now you can:

• Search for a specific hashtag from your search bar. For example, #NBAFinals.
• Click on hashtags that originate on other services, such as Instagram.
• Compose posts directly from the hashtag feed and search results.

As always, you control the audience for your posts, including those with hashtags.

On the coming weeks, more features will be rolled out just like trending hashtags and deeper insights, that help people discover more of the world's conversations.

Overdrive 2010 officially kicked off Wednesday, March 24 with the arrival of the newly decked out Speedster bus roaming the streets of Talisay, Mabolo, Mandaue and Mactan, as one-stop activation hub where you can apply for a PLDT landline and myDSL connection. There, you can also hangout with the PLDT myDSL crew, surf the net, play wii and most of all, experience what watchpad is all about.

Today, March 28, Sunday marks the date of the ground beaking partnership with local cable channel RCTV in a free event dubbed LIVE and LOUD at the Parkmall Grounds at 1 pm and streamed live exclusively via Watchpad for all Watchpad subscribers around the country at 5:30 PM. This event is a celebration of Cebu talent, local culture, technological convergence and the new age of cable and internet television.

As a culminating activity, Overdrive will be ended with the Speed Circuit Car Drifting Exhibition. The Cebu Bloggers Society was founded on February 14, 2008, with the main goal of uniting Cebu-based bloggers into a well-bonded community. And indeed, after its creation, individuals with diverse backgrounds but with a common interest, which is to promote Cebu and advocate blogging as a key tool for progress, converged together to establish Cebu’s first and largest blogging community.

The Cebu Bloggers Society has really grown and evolved quite significantly. From its humble beginnings, the group presently has at least 80 members and still counting. And now, the group is already anticipating its 2nd founding anniversary! Dubbed as “CBS @ 2: The Cebu Bloggers Society 2nd Anniversary Celebration”, the event is envisioned to further strengthen the bond of friendship and camaraderie within the blogging community.

The anniversary celebration will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010, 5-9PM, at SM City Cebu Foodcourt – SM Storyland Celebration Hall.

I joined the fan last Saturday, October 17, 2008 in SAMSUNG Fun Club Day held at SM City Cebu Acivity Center and with Parokya ni Edgar at the Northwing Parking Area (i was not there during the concert..huhu).
They have launched their new mobile phones the SAMSUNG OMNIA and the Innov8 with their cool website. Unfortunately, i was not able to rock the Parokya ni Edgar concert coz i need to assist the personnel of XCom Computer shop in delivering my 16" SAMSUNG LCD monitor, yeah, its SAMSUNG day! aheheh
