This Glass House is a replica of typical home but is reimagined with the incorporation of different Windows 8.1 devices and apps made for each member of the family. On Janaury 31 to February 2, Microsoft Philippines brings Glass House in Cebu as it officially opened at SM City Cebu (Lower Ground Floor, Exhibit Area - near Moon Cafe).


This is a creative effort to demonstrate the ability of Microsoft's innovative devices and services to power and transform the lifestyle of Filipino families. The Glass House will showcase the newest Windows 8.1 devices (Lenovo MIIX2, Asus T100, Acer W4, etc.) and apps (Bing Food and Drink, Bing Health and Fitness, etc.) among other exciting features of the program. Also, Techies or everybody has a chance of winning Windows Tablet by just taking a tour of the Glass House and follow this Mechanics.

IMAX 3D

To create the illusion of three-dimensional depth, the IMAX 3D process uses two camera lenses to represent the left and right eyes. The two lenses are separated by an interocular distance of 64 mm (2.5 in), the average distance between a human's eyes. By recording on two separate rolls of film for the left and right eyes, and then projecting them simultaneously, viewers experience seeing a 3D image on a 2D screen. The IMAX 3D camera is cumbersome, weighing over 113 kg (250 lb). This makes it difficult to film on-location documentaries.

May 25, 2010 – Cebu, Philippines : Cebu Bloggers Society members were luckily invited to join, experience and enjoy the SM Cyberzone Summer Festival 2010 at SM City Cebu ground floor. The event was attended by more or less 20 Cebu bloggers who are technology bloggers. There are different booths offered during the activity. We have the gaming Station, Photo Booth, Booth of Luck and Upload express station.

Booth of Luck: I patiently lined up to this booth with a strong feeling of winning some freebies. And I got it, I won an E-games CD featuring RAN online, Cabal ad Nostale. And the Summer Festival excitement started here.

Photo Booth and Wall: This section is the most visited part for Bloggers. Bloggers cannot be satisfied in every event if they cannot shoot and pause for a picture taking. And during the fest, Cebu bloggers were camwhores and we love it.

The Cyberience

As a tech blogger, SM City Cebu Cyberzone gave me an unforgettable experience (cyberience) and has been a part of my blogging life. It is here where I bought all my gadgets used in blogging. Since I always so particular with price and quality, Cyberzone helped me to make things easier and with comfort. Second to Bench and Penshoppe stores, Cyberzone provides information and new ideas to tech-lovers like me.
