Flappy Bird Will Be Taken Down By Developer, Dong Nguyen
Earlier today, Dong Nguyen, an indie developer of the hit game, Flappy Bird tweeted a very intriguing post. He said, "I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users, 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down. I cannot take this anymore.” The Developer then added, "It is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore.” It was reported that Nguyen was making $50,000 daily from this game.
Last February 5, he tweeted, "Press people are overrating the success of my games. It is something I never want. Please give me peace." This might be the reason of bringing down Flappy Bird, what do you think? But to those people who already downloaded the game, this might not affect anything from your end, but let us see.

Kitkat is Android Version 4.4
Sorry Key Lime Pie fans, but chocolate is in this time! Google surprisingly announced to call the next version of mobile operating system Android as KITKAT. This version 4.4 of the OS was supposed to be named Key Lime Pie but the search engine Giant decided to name it from Nestle's chocolate bar.
But if you are thinking Google is paying for Nestle or Nestle to Google, you're wrong. "This is not a money-changing-hands kind of deal," John Lagerling, Director of Android global partnerships, told the BBC news.
From it's previous versions, Google has been consistent to choose dessert-themed codenames progressing a letter in the alphabet. Previous versions have been called Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo (short for frozen yoghurt), Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean and now with a letter K for Kitkat.
"We realised that very few people actually know the taste of a key lime pie," Lagerling explained. "One of the snacks that we keep in our kitchen for late-night coding are KitKats. And someone said: 'Hey, why don't we call the release KitKat?'

FIRST: Globe Offers Nano-Sims in Globe Stores
Globe Telecom pioneers Nano-SIMs distribution in the Philippines and it is available this month. But what are Nano-SIMS? Nano-SIMs are new generation subscriber identity module (SIM) cards for the latest generation of smartphones and handsets running on the most modern mobile network technologies. Globe has ordered as much as 5x more Nano-SIMs than its regular SIM stocks, anticipating high customer demand when smartphones running on Nano-SIMs are offered in the market.
According to the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), the new Nano-SIM cards will be 40% smaller than the Micro-SIM, the smallest SIM card design to date, and will measure 12.3 millimeters wide, 8.8 millimeters high, and 0.67 millimeters thick.
“The Nano-SIM cards are packaged and distributed in a way that is backward- compatible with existing SIM cards. The new design will offer the same functionality as all current SIM cards,” added ETSI. “When Nano-SIM cards enter production, their size will free up room inside mobile phones for additional memory and larger batteries, helping phone vendors create thinner devices”, revealed Giesecke & Devrient, a global pioneering innovator that provides end-to-end solutions for identification systems and mobile security applications.

Facebook Phone is INQ Cloud Touch, INQ shows TechCrunch
Last year, an unconfirmed news buzzed online about Facebook secretly making an Andriod Phone customized for the said social networking site.
But today, TechCrunch was able to shoot an exclusive video in which INQ channel manager Andrew Bennet shows how the pre-production version of the phone works. By the way, this pre-production version is called INQ Cloud Touch while looking forward, INQ is developing a QWERTY version named INQ CLOUD Q.

In regards to the phone's physical appearance, it is more likely a resemblance of iPhone in white colored version. The device runs the Android Operating System. So basically, you will see the FOUR buttons above the screen. These FOUR buttons represent Facebook icons.
PEOPLE - this button links to a news feed (Recent or Top) consisting your friends' status updates and other activity such us liking to pages, adding friends, and other stuffs.The phone also absorbs all the details inside your Facebook friends into the local address book so you have one unified social address book.
EVENTS - this home button pulls all events in your plate such as birthdays, Friend's events and some other past events.
NOTIFICATIONS - this leads to the newsfeed items relevant to things you’ve clicked on and so forth and most especially to your friend's status in which you did a comments or likes.
PLACES - this links to the geolocation service, where you can check in and find out your friends’ locations. This service is the same with Foursquare.
Another feature that you will notice is the Spotify, a replacement of the traditional Android Music Player, installed to Facebook Phone. As reported by TechCrunch, the cost will end up to $50 with a contract ($250 without contract) depending on the subsidy from the carrier. But officialy, pricing has not yet been announced.

Sony Ericsson has made a break as it launches the world's first smallest Android smartphones; The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and X10 mini pro. The Philippine's Press launching was held last july 14,2010 - Wednesday at X10 Cafe, SM City Cebu.
As the Android Market makes a slope in the telecommunication and gadget line, Sony Ericsson invested its brand with the X10 mini and mini Pro. Here are the technical specifications and features that these units have:
